INFORMATION

FIRE PERMITS!!! IMPORTANT!!!

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU OBTAIN A FIRE PERMIT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. Fire permits are required for this site, including for the use of cook stoves. Attendees who do not have a fire permit may be cited.

The best way to do this is to fill out the permit online, print it out, and bring it with you. Here’s the link: Fire Permit

You may also pick up at a permit at the US Forest Service office in Oroville.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY CODE OF CONDUCT

BE AMAZING!

Of course you’re amazing, but in case there’s any doubt about what we mean by amazing, please read the Friends and Family Code of Conduct. It’s a clear explanation of our expectations of everyone that attends our events as well as important information about how we handle situations where people are less than amazing. Please take the time to read this policy as attending the campout means you agree to the terms therein. Thanks!

GETTING THERE

Belden Town Resort is on Highway 70 about 50 miles past Oroville. When you get close, you'll see the bridge on your right that leads into Belden Town.

If you're camping, drive past the lodge and motel rooms until you reach the greeting area.

If you're staying at the motel, in a cabin, or bringing an RV (see reservation and RV info below), veer right after crossing the bridge, park at the main lodge entrance and check in. Once you've checked in, walk along the road past the motel and check in at our greeting area.

TRASH AND RECYCLING

For those who are camping, a dumpster will be located near the greeting area. Please drop your trash off here on your way out. Unfortunately, recycling service isn’t available so please take your recyclables home with you.

BRING FOOD AND WATER!!!

This is a campout. Be self sufficient. There is a restaurant onsite but it may be crowded at times, and you should plan to bring at least some of your own food for the weekend.

A spigot is available for refilling water, but it is not conveniently located for campers. You should bring large enough containers to get you through the weekend.

BRING LAYERS

The days can be warm, but the nights can get chilly. Bring plenty of layers!

FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT

All ages welcome. Children 12 and under are free!

ROOMS AND CABINS

If you are interested in staying in a motel room or cabin at Belden Town, please call the Belden Town Resort directly at at (530) 283-9662 or (530) 353-0860.

If you're staying in a motel room or cabin, you must arrive by 10 pm to check in or make arrangements with someone who can check in on your behalf

TRAILERS AND RVS

Planning on camping in an RV or trailer?

Please call Belden Town Resort directly at at (530) 283-9662 or (530) 353-0860 to reserve an RV space. FRC is not monitoring or regulating the RV parking area. You must reserve those directly with Belden Town.

If you would like to camp out of you vehicle or truck (standard-sized vehicles) you may be able to do so on the road near the main stage area. Since parking along the road is pretty limited, you will not have any extra space for chairs, tables, or other items.

IMPORTANT

FRC is not monitoring nor regulating the RV parking area and we strongly recommend that you plan to tent camp in case this area and parking along the road inside the event is full.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

FRC couldn’t happen without the contributions of many volunteers to greet people as they arrive, help them find parking, and help our sound coordinator with setting up and striking our sound system. Please consider signing up for a shift or two on our volunteer staff sheet!

Signup for a shift here.
